GeneraL Information on College Admissions Exams

College Admissions Testing: · ACT or SAT. Which should you take? Click here for some guidance.

· All Juniors will be offered to take either the ACT or SAT free of charge during the school day in the spring in February or March.

· Both SATs and ACTs are available to take on Saturdays for a fee. (Fee waivers are available. See Ms. Sherman, guidance secretary, for assistance.) See below for dates and registration links.

· Both exams are offered in digital format only

· The SAT contains Reading, Writing and Language and Math sections,

· The ACT contains English, Reading and Math and an optional Science section.

· Practice SATs using Bluebook or Kahn Academy

· If you do not remember your SAT/ACT login info, you can contact the testing company via phone or the websites above.

· During registration, you will have the option to select up to 4 colleges to receive your scores free of charge. Take advantage of this, as there will be a fee to send scores after registration.

· Both exams require physical, legal, up-to-date identification. This includes driver's license, government-issued ID, current school ID, passport, or approved identification letter from your school guidance department. A picture of an ID on your phone WILL NOT be accepted.
