National English Honor Society

Membership in NEHS is an honor bestowed on individuals selected for their accomplishments in the field of English and in overall academic achievement. Conway High School sets forth minimum requirements for active membership as the following: Junior or Senior, 3.0 or higher GPA, no disciplinary infractions; 20 hours of community service, and paid initiation fees.

The NEHS motto, "gelast sceal mid are," is Old English for: "duty goes with honor."
