Dear Tiger Family,

It is an honor to serve as principal of Conway High School. I am excited about what lies ahead for our students, our school, and the entire Conway community.

Our theme, One Team. One Standard. Excellence., reflects who we want to be and how we will approach our work together.

One Team means that the success of our students belongs to all of us. Students, teachers, staff, families, alumni, business partners, and our community each play an important role in making Conway High School a great place to learn and grow.

One Standard means we will have high expectations for ourselves and for one another. We believe our students are capable of great things, and we will challenge and support them to reach their full potential. We want our students engaged in meaningful learning, working hard, thinking deeply, and developing the knowledge and skills they need for what comes next. At Conway High School, we are the standard.

We are also continuing to expand opportunities for our students. This year, Conway High School is proud to pilot the 3DE by Junior Achievement program, bringing real-world business challenges and community partnerships into the classroom. We are also continuing to grow our AVID program, helping more students develop the skills, confidence, and preparation they need to be successful in college, careers, and beyond.

Excellence is the outcome we are working toward. It begins in the classroom with strong instruction, high expectations, and a commitment to continuous growth, but it does not end there. We want our students to find ways to connect, contribute, and grow through athletics, fine arts, clubs, and other extracurricular opportunities. These experiences are an important part of the high school experience and give our students opportunities to develop their talents, build relationships, learn leadership and teamwork, and represent Conway High School with pride.

Ultimately, our success will be measured by the growth and achievement of our students and how well we prepare them for life beyond Conway High School. That takes all of us working together with a shared purpose and a commitment to doing what is best for our students.
