Complete the free application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) after
January 1    www.FAFSA.gov

Seniors desiring an ACT fee waiver must provide proof of eligibility before a waiver can be issued.  Documentation from ONE of the following is needed:

  • Enrollment in free or reduced lunch program
  • Family's receipt of public assistance
  • Family's dwelling in subsidized public house
  • Student is a resident in a foster home
  • Family's annual income falls within the low income level as listed in a chart available in Guidance

If you are interested in applying to one or more Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), please visit www.eduinconline.com and complete the 2009-10 application.  Once you complete this application, it will be sent to all 33 HBCU's that are currently members of EDU, Inc.

Santee Cooper's Power Associates Program High school graduates interested in the electric utility industry Two-year program where students earn a technial associates degree and gain hands-on experience by working in a generating station.  Santee Cooper pays for tuition, fees, books, and supplies.  Students earn a competitive wage, receive a weekly stipend, and qualify for substantial incentive bonses each semester based on academic performance.  Graduates recieve preferential consideration for full-time employment at Santee Cooper.
